I assume Thursday isn’t an option because we ran out of time, due to this rule?

Let’s get a rolling calendar for 7 days from now going until we can find a spot. I was going to look at Google Calendar integration but haven’t had an opportunity yet.

Yer the 3 Day rule killed it…..
Looking at the requirement for 3 days with a minimum of 5 players each day I think our format above
may not work well, therefore I agree a Calender would work well.
Now to implement it.
If you would like I can help with the calender this Friday night from 7:30pm onwards…...

I reckon Drupals calendar module might be worth another shot – http://drupal.org/project/calendar
From the sounds of it it if you have a date field on some content (eg. a challenge page) it will automatically show it up in this calendar. That’d solve the problem of creating a challenge page, then adding something to a calendar – then it getting out of date if you change it in one of the two places. Anyway – something to look at.
Sorry n0mad – won’t be able to help tomorrow night. You guys have a go though. Try it all out on the test site before putting it on the real site. Any of the founders have details for the test site – ask any of us in IRC.

I don’t think there’s any other way really. We could help by making a page where we all note down what days we’re generally available and the organiser could use that as a guide when picking the days (remember it’s not just one day – its 3 days at 3 different times). Even so, we’ll never be able to find out for sure if everyones available before we challenge so yeah – just challenge away.
I’d always include Tuesdays in the 3 days too – that just makes good sense.

I think when we looked for OK’s last time, Thursday evenings appeared to be a good time as well.
Might as well make a few challenges and forfeit if we have to – if we don’t give it a crack we wont be playing at all.

Thanks as always for the offer Pinge. Sorry we didn’t get back to you about it. We didn’t think we were going to have any free days before the challenge. In the end we got an impromptu practice match on Monday night when 5 of us were on the pubs and Skullz was looking for some cannon fodder.

Dispute
Quick note about the dispute. Some of you may have noticed the result is in dispute on GA’s site. This is because RoK entered forfeit, we entered 2-0 to IPX like they asked us to. GA’s auto dispute recognition software noticed the results were different (even tho they were both saying we won 2-0 – good work GA). I have entered a submission to them explaining this and changing our result to IPX 2 Rok 0 (Forfeit). I’m sure this will all be resolved soon and is nothing to worry about.
