Evening all.
Yes you may have heard the rumor that I am going away. (Yay I hear someone say…) I Confirm this fact.
I will be traveling interstate for the entire week for my other job ;) (I should have left today but decided to cancel an inspection)

Unfortunately, I will be outside the realms of the interwebs. But should you feel the need my mobile is always on for any of you. If you dont have it already, ask Fuzz or another founder (or anyone else you might think has it) for the number and send me a text or give me a bell!

I look forward to seeing you all on my return, I will suffer greatly withdrawals from the team.

For those who wernt at “training” lastnight or for those who didnt take it seriously. Tweaks/Configs (a way to cheat within an allowable threashold) are used by 99% of teams 99.9% of the time. We are the 1%! Now I know some of us use configs more then others, then there are those amongst us who don’t use any at all. Maybe its something we need to look into? I’m not saying configs are the be all and end all or that they are going to compensate against your “PD” or lack of aim, but they can “even” the playing field.

Howdy gang, im looking for some advice, ideas, experiance and am thanking in advance!

am at my inlaws at the moment (Their PC) and have brought my laptop like always, not connected to the net like always, i play some of the very few single player games which i have on my machine.

im playing Age of Empires 3, everything is hunky dory when, blue screen of death. trying to remember the error in the WTF haze im sure it was somthing like.
critical hardware error, partial memory, system shutting down. then the computer restarted.
OMG.. worst thing that can happen on a laptop… lines accross the screen that wont go away appeared!
then as normal windows loads, but when its supposed to go into the regular windows screen, the screen turns black and NOTHING... not even the OMG lines anymore (i know windows has loaded cause i hear all the nomal sounds like skype, macafee, trillian and other programs starting etc. I just cant see anything)

A band which sparked my interest back in highschool…
I brought their albums after seeing part of this film clip, They are weird but I love(d) this song (it was back in the days when MP3s were cool and took an hour to convert them from .wav files which took 3 days to DL over dial up and you prayed no one called your phone number cause call waiting would screw the download and drop your connection)

Anyway. Something made me think of the band and i though it was strange I hadn’t heard anything…
unfortunately the lead (David Reilly) of the band died unexpectedly from complications of a coma brought on by pain medication for an abscessed tooth in 2005.
Life sucks!
Anyway, am kinda paying homage of sorts, life’s short people. don’t let trivial stuff ruin what you’ve got left. you don’t know how much you do have left…
Please watch the clip… out of respect for the dead and the fact that it is one of the best and most original I’ve ever seen!
