So, it’s finally happened: Kazozza OZ-mantado is back on the air!

The modem arrived today and it’s working fine!
All I need now is a laptop and I’ll be fragging Strogg left, right and centre!

Which laptop you getting?

I’m looking into dell, but they’ve got dodgy vid cards in them atm. I won’t go below 17”, so that limits my choice =)

I think the Asus range is the best for the discerning gamer right now. I’ve got a 15.4” Asus Z96J at 1650×1080 res, and am really impressed with it. They gave me a replacement power pack on warranty after 18 months also, which was nice of them (they didn’t have to).

You can also get rebranded Asus/Clevo/MSI/HP laptops for cheaper through other sellers. Try out:

I played these three off against each other with competing quotes, and got mine for about $2100 (down from about a $2600 listed price at the time).
